Tulsa OK Police are looking for two men who assaulted and robbed and carjacked a security guard at gunpoint early Saturday, escaping with the victim’s vehicle and about $ 15,000 in camera equipment.
Tulsa Police Capt. Richard Alexander said the victim was seated on the tailgate of his pickup truck at about 1 a.m. at the Maytag Store Clearance Center, 10300 E. 71st St., when he was assaulted and robbed by two men who approached him while he was talking to his friend over the computer.
The armed robbers struck the victim in the face with chrome revolver, demanded his wallet and then tossed his computer and camera equipment into the back of the pickup before heading east on 71st Street, Alexander said.
The pickup, a white, 1997 Nissan, with a green “S” decal on the back window, was last seen headed southbound on Oklahoma Highway 169.
The suspects are described as Hispanic males in their 20s. One is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 130 pounds. He was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and a black fedora. The other suspect is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 160 pounds.
